AP Chemistry Semester 2
General Information
AP chemistry equations and constants used on the AP test, document from College Board
The AP Chemistry exam is scheduled for 8 am, Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Unit 1 Intermolecular Forces
Notice how this starts with Unit 1, not Unit 6. Your files may get mixed up with Semester 1 if you don't create a new folder for Semester 2. The assignments will have the same numbers even though they are different activities. I have no control over this. I do not write our curriculum. I just try to help students make sense of it.
Unit 2 Kinetics
Unit 3 Chemical Equilibrium
Unit 4 Acid-Base Equilibria
Categories and weights
The course is actually based on total points.
Your school decides where letter grades break. Typically 90% or better is an A. You should check with your school to know what the real cut offs are for your school.
90% of 1935 = 1741.5 points, so 1741.5 points or above will be 90% or better.
80% of 1935 = 1548 points
70% of 1935 = 1354.5 points
60% of 1935 = 1161 points
1160 points or below is probably failing the class
Academic Integrity- what you should or should not use for answers in discussions or constructed response questions
Students will not earn full credit for assignments if Ms. Getz cannot tell that independent thought was used. If you trick her into giving you full credit, "yay" for you. It would be best if you still learned how to think for yourself.
