Marine Science: Secrets of the Blue

Marine Science: Secrets of the Blue

It also has ideas on how to do some stuff in Courseware.

If you need a guide sheet, but it has not been created yet, please tell Ms. Getz as soon as you can.

Here are some Guide Sheets:

There is a tutorial that will take you through how to find the location on the exact other side of the earth from you.

Unit 4 Water and Weather

Unit 5 Energy in the Ocean

Unit 6 The Ocean and Its Populations

Unit 7 Populations that Thrive

Unit 8 Human Interaction and the Environment

Unit 9 The Past and Future of Marine Science

Unit 10 Careers in Marine Science

I don't know where you are asked to talk about features of the ocean. I was asked to help find information about features of the ocean. I found these links.

Students unlock Mastery Tests by redoing the tutorial that goes with it.

Discussions can be redone by adding more to your response. You have to message your teacher so she can regrade it. Course and Unit Activities show up each time they are submitted. Discussions can't be formally resubmitted. The teacher has to go into the gradebook, find the discussion, read what you wrote, and manually add points.

The Midterm and the End of Semester tests can be taken twice and require the teacher to reset them. The reset has to be 24 hours after completion of the first try.

Academic Integrity- what you should or should not use for answers in discussions or constructed response questions

Students will only earn full credit for assignments if Ms. Getz can tell that independent thought was used. If you trick her into giving you full credit, "yay" for you. It would be best if you still learned how to think for yourself.
